Law no. 422/2023
Law no. 422 published in the Official Gazette no. 1188 of 29.12.2023 regarding the state social insurance budget for the year 2024, makes the following clarifications:
Comment: The gross average salary used as the base of the state social insurance budget for 2024 is 7,567 lei.
The death benefit amount is established, in accordance with the law, as follows:
a) For the insured or pensioner, at 7,567 lei;
b) For a family member of the insured or pensioner, at 3,784 lei.

Decision no. 1336 published in the Official Gazette no. 1196 of 29.12.2023 for amending and supplementing the methodological norms for the application of Law no. 227/2015 regarding the Fiscal Code, approved by Government Decision no. 1/2016, makes the following clarifications:
