Comment: According to Art. 1 of the present Order, starting 1st of January 2014, the first 2500 Romanian legal entities have the quality of large taxpayers, including entities resulting from the merger with other taxpayers and corporate taxpayers foreign entities that operate in Romania, selected on a downward criteria as provided by the Annex of the present Order.
The list of large taxpayers is drawn until 30 November of each year and is updated on a yearly basis.

Comment: Starting with 1st of January 2014, the County public finance administration and the General regional public finances administration of Bucharest, through the Fiscal Administration for medium taxpayers, will manage the taxpayers, Romanian legal entities, except public institutions that are tax resident in counties or in Bucharest jurisdiction, as applicable, referred to as medium taxpayers, including entities resulting from the division or merger with other taxpayers and taxpayers branches foreign entities that operate in Romania and meet the selection criteria provided by the present Order (aggregate value criteria and insolvency criteria).
